At Omnia Lifestyle

Yoga classes in Chiswick, within a clinic

Looking for yoga in Chiswick that works with the body you actually have, not the one on the poster? Yoga at Omnia Lifestyle is taught in small groups and one to one by experienced teachers, inside a clinic where your teacher can talk to the physiotherapist or acupuncturist who is treating you.

Sessions combine postures, breathing and relaxation to improve flexibility, strength, posture and stress regulation. They are adapted to your level and to any injury or condition, which makes them a good fit for beginners, for people returning after injury and for anyone who wants yoga as part of a wider care plan rather than a gym class.

Two minutes from Turnham Green station, with therapeutic one-to-one sessions available.

Why people come

Why practise yoga at Omnia Lifestyle

  • Improves flexibility and strength. Progressive postures that build range and control.
  • Reduces stress and improves sleep. Breathing and relaxation practices you take home.
  • Supports posture and back health. Alignment work for spine, hips and shoulders.
  • Adapted to injury and condition. Teachers who modify safely and liaise with your clinician.
  • Small groups and one to one. Attention on you, not a room of forty.
  • Part of your care plan. Combine with physiotherapy, acupuncture or Ayurveda.

The mechanism

How yoga works

Yoga works on the body through sustained postures that lengthen tight tissue, build strength through the supporting muscles and improve joint range, and on the nervous system through controlled breathing that shifts the body towards rest and recovery. Practised regularly, the two together improve mobility, posture, balance and stress tolerance.

Sessions can be weighted towards relaxation, strength or rehabilitation depending on what you need, and because we are a clinic, your teacher can adapt the practice around a physiotherapy or treatment plan rather than working in isolation.

Who it helps

Is yoga right for you?

  • Stress and poor sleep. Breathwork and relaxation that settle the nervous system.
  • Stiffness and poor flexibility. Desk workers and anyone who has lost range of movement.
  • Returning after injury. A teacher who adapts postures and liaises with your physio.
  • Posture and back health. Strength and alignment for the spine, hips and shoulders.
  • Beginners. No experience needed, small groups, no judgement.
  • Anyone who wants yoga with a clinical eye. Therapeutic sessions built around your goals.

What to expect

What to expect at your first yoga session

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in; mats and props are provided. Your teacher asks about injuries, conditions and what you want from the practice, then the session begins with grounding breathwork and gentle mobility. Postures are taught and adapted to your level, and the session closes with relaxation.

You leave with one or two simple practices for home. Regular sessions are where flexibility, strength and calm build, and your teacher will suggest a rhythm that fits your goals.
